KOS-MOS Ver. 4 from Xenosaga III by Volks

It may say, “Volks”, but actually since only one figure really interested me, I suppose it is not right to say “Volks”. This is the last of the figures and manufacturers that made any kind of impression on me. Coupled with my possible purchase of a Volks’ Dollfie Dream it seems quite likely that I am not going to order any more figures (including this one) for the entire year…if ever again. My passion is just not in it anymore. Maybe figures of my 2D harem, but no further.

Considering that both Max Factory and Good Smile Company (hereafter abbreviated as GSC) are into their Figma and Nendoroid lines of figures respectively nowadays, I am quite surprised that I even have anything to talk about for them. Since I am not really into either type, this post will be very short.

Originally I had wanted to come up with just one post for all of Wonder Festival’s releases, considering that Lelouch is too busy with schoolwork and life to be able to post anything here for a while, along with the reason that I am no longer as into figure collecting as before. But for some odd reason the figure manufacturers decided to “Boys/Girls, Be Ambitious” and there were quite a few releases I wanted to talk about. Here is the first look with my top figure manufacturer of all time, Alter.

Holy shit this was just way too good to put off any longer. Thanks to wcloudxkumo who alerted me in IRC about the fully painted version of Volks KOS-MOS Ver. 4 previously displayed at Wonder Festival 2009 Summer. This figure version of her must be the most fantastic one ever, seriously.

Finally, we cover the last part of Wonfes in detail with the figure maker that has overtaken Max Factory as the number 1 figure maker in my book, Alter. Alter was, in fact, the first booth to be covered in photographic detail at the event, so I would expect that everyone probably knows all their various releases that were announced at the event by now. Still, considering that they have my biggest share of interest, it is only right that I take a good look at the ones I will invest in.
