So not too long after I made a tweet about it, I figured, why the hell not start? At least I got to start somewhere. This is the first in a series of posts so far, despite the end of 2009 already approaching, about the current entries in my top picks for 2009 (winter 2008 anime season till fall 2009 season, the latter of which is still going on). Of course, this list will be limited only to the series I have seen and/or complete. This first post will be about the OP and ED theme songs as well as the singers/bands (who are all grouped together).

And finally, we reach the last group of the Saimoe 2009 tournament. On with the brackets, and Group H is dominated by Saki in terms of quantity.

And here are the listings for Group B of the current running Saimoe tournament. I had no idea they now have an unofficial site for it, which you can probably check there periodically for updates. I have no idea how fast they update the results though. Anyway, on to Group B’s predictions and stuff. Well, I did not think that I would cover Saimoe this year, and I still do not intend to. But I thought a look at the start of the tournament, which begins tomorrow from the time this post is done, may be a good idea considering how, after looking at the entire grouping in the actual tournament past the preliminaries, two of my wives made it in. Not that they have a chance of survival past the first round, but whatever. Since Group A starts on the 4th, while the other groups start later, I shall take a look group by group in the first looks, meaning a total of 8 posts for all first looks.
