The rest of my summer impressions follow for the series I am currently watching – Seitokai Yakuindomo, Highschool of the Dead, and Sengoku Basara 2. Honestly I was not planning on watching any more than the three I mentioned in my summer anime watchlist, but there was hype about certain series that made me pick them up.
Considering that there are only 3 shows I am going to bother with this coming summer, it is quite surprising that I would even bother to do a post for the season’s anime series at all. But oh well, I suppose it could serve as an excuse to make yet another post, albeit a very short one compared to the other anime watchlists that I had done so far. I also no longer have any authors writing for me, so anything here is all my own opinion. Also included is something that was talked about on IRC two nights ago (my time) regarding the anime industry, at the end of the post, if you are interested.
So not too long after I made a tweet about it, I figured, why the hell not start? At least I got to start somewhere. This is the first in a series of posts so far, despite the end of 2009 already approaching, about the current entries in my top picks for 2009 (winter 2008 anime season till fall 2009 season, the latter of which is still going on). Of course, this list will be limited only to the series I have seen and/or complete. This first post will be about the OP and ED theme songs as well as the singers/bands (who are all grouped together).
Note: This is a repost. Please read this post as to why.
And so I know it is pretty late, the spring season is more than halfway past, but here are the rest of my spring impressions. I would like to seriously express my thoughts on them, and thus, here we go.
And so Oda Nobunaga continues with his advance into Hinomoto, conquering the lands as easily as cutting pie, killing wherever he goes. His weapons remind me of a certain veteran stance in Granado Espada, but whatever. The very fact that he uses a sword to cut up his opponent, then finishes him off with the gun tells much of his evilness.
