In this next look at Wonfes I will like to point to Kotobukiya, a figure manufacturer which many probably know by now that I am no longer bothering with, and Orchid Seed, that ecchi-based figure company that seems to consistently pump out more than it can actually produce. There are times when the best laid plans of mice and men fall short, and these two companies have demonstrated that amply in the realm of figure production.

Despite my previous revelation about this being a big post, I decided to compress it into just 2 manufacturers, Volks and Orchid Seed, leaving the best manufacturer, Alter, for yet another post, despite it being the first booth to be photographed at the event. Here are the figures that had me interested from both the former manufacturers.

So it is now time for that quarterly update on figure preorders. Unlike the previous times, this is a rather small list. However, the cost is something else. At least, I am being very picky right about nows. First off though, the wishlist.

Ever since Nitro+ announced Soniko’s resin version at Wonfes 08 Summer a few months earlier, though an AmiAmi exclusive (read about it in this post), I had been hoping Sonic would be made into a PVC. It looks like my wishes were more than answered, with this new Orchid Seed PVC of Sonic, but not as a slipdown-shorts figure with a mirror base, but as a fully castoff apron figure with such a moe face zomg I think I am going to die excuse me while I bleed manly tears of joy.
