Because I cry, The Koromo does as well… (and not just because Saki’s done)

Before I go into my routine inspection of this month’s admittedly exciting releases (September was so boring wasn’t it? *prepares for GSC Saber Lily retards’ attack*), I’d just like to give some attention to the very poor weather that’s hit our failed country these past few days. Some gawd awful typhoon just released its load (sexual pun unintended) on our failed nation causing massive flooding on most places (think of an entire house floor underwater…) and extreme loss of life, equivalent to a thousand St. Yuukis on one area, of course without the annoyance. I guess what I’m trying to say is that life’s too short and we should live it to the fullest (goodness, it took one paragraph to say that one sentence? I am epic). And so moving on… (before I proclaim more Saber-hate)

Wait, this is a figure post isn’t it? Sorry, couldn’t help putting waifu Nodoka…

So as much as I wanted to do an Alter post for Wonder Festival 2009, I knew Panther would’ve wanted to declare his everlasting (ok, maybe not, but who knows?) love for that smexy jointed KOS-MOS and his waifu Selvaria (yeah, and you wonder why Alicia, the bitch baker, won leading lady honors) so I conceded posting an Alter entry. Thankfully, Panther allowed me to post another one for my fangasmic pleasures, which he didn’t cover the previous entry. So yeah, expect less moments of sarcastic epiphany here, though I wouldn’t rule out such happenings… even though it is Alter (oh shit, wasn’t I supposed to do a school paper today? oh well, to hell with that).

Wave: Powered by Tacos

Welcome to part 2 of the second in our trilogy of WonFest 2009 posts. Since Wave suddenly decided to tread the route of insanity, Panther has advised me to separate my coverage into two posts (which is logical). So yeah, Wave and Yamato time even though Yamato generally sucks, and because they suck, I’ll start with Wave’s releases which have been refreshingly GOOD, at least compared to their meh standards of past releases.

Boku wa GUNDAMMU!!! (oh wait, wrong show…)

Your deposed emperor of fabulousness, Lelouch, here bringing you the 2nd of a trilogy (1st of 2 parts) of WonFest 2009 posts by our trinity of Yuki-to, myself and Panther. As always, WonFest brought more temporary joy and never-ending wallet (I guess wallets are no longer useful since they won’t be holding any cash soon anyway) agony for the figure faithful. For this part, I’ll be presenting the announcements from Max Factory, Wave, Yamato, Gift and Aoshima even though most of the stuff that I want are from Alter, which will be in the care of Panther.

Boring month needs a lively nosebleed-inducing pic… my way of saying sorry for being lazy…

It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted here and I’m glad to finally be back. There’s just been too much going on recently (studying=fail)  that my blogging life has been stalled to the point of irritating my seldom unnerved brain. Oh well, enough with my personal chit-chat/despair-fueled rants and I shall give my thoughts on a rather uneventful July (compared to August and the succeeding months) in the figure world.
