a) Died of severe lack of nutrition from eating Cheez Whiz sandwiches all day in an attempt to save for pre-order debt…

b) Got S&M spanked in school and died of extreme blood loss due to failed Economics exam… (got the minimum mark in class)

c) Has been hypnotized by the sight of Haramura Nodoka’s balloons to the point of nullifying every mental function… (most definitely likely)

Boring month needs a lively nosebleed-inducing pic… my way of saying sorry for being lazy…

It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted here and I’m glad to finally be back. There’s just been too much going on recently (studying=fail)  that my blogging life has been stalled to the point of irritating my seldom unnerved brain. Oh well, enough with my personal chit-chat/despair-fueled rants and I shall give my thoughts on a rather uneventful July (compared to August and the succeeding months) in the figure world.

C.C. wants to sleep this month away…

At a recent urban/science-fiction themed photoshoot, I had the chance to finally get up close and personal with a figure I had wanted since I saw it for the first time in person at Anime Festival Asia ‘08 – that of FREEing’s Bunny figure series from the Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, Asakura Ryoko.

And so we reach the 4th part of our AFA ‘08 coverage. In this post, I will talk about the figures that were on display, though not all of them, and the models they hired at the particular booth, which was, anyway, about the only booth that sported models. You must be wondering at the title. Quite seriously, some of these figures I will now show you are from several manufacturers. I also just realized that AkibaHobby did cover Orchid Seed, but I will leave that for Part 4 instead. Here, the figures shown are from Good Smile, Max Factory, and some miscellaneous ones on the side such as FREEing. I will also show one or two from AmiAmi. The last part (at least, I hope it is the last part) from AkibaHobby’s coverage tomorrow will deal with Griffon urgh and Orchid Seed.

Also I just finished watching Kaiba. It seriously is, IMHO, the best anime of 2008. I will get around to posting on the last 3 episodes soon, I hope.
