Well I actually missed Senjougahara Hitagi’s birthday on the 7th of July, the day of the Japanese Tanabata Festival (for lovers; the Chinese also have a similar day in their culture). So, here is a belated happy birthday to our novel tsundere queen, Senjougahara-sama. Not surprisingly, her birthday puts her squarely in the month of Cancer. Hitagi Crab much? Above image by Sutanri.

The first webcast episode of the last three episodes of the Tsubasa Cat arc of course sees a drop in animation quality due to the streaming, but nevertheless manages to keep up closely with the storyline and the goodness that Bakemonogatari has been bringing to us during its TV season. We return to the problem at hand with Hanekawa being the subject this time round.
I had already heard about this episode of course, reading the summary on Random Curiosity, but then again, like the other episodes of Bakemonogatari, it is always a true blast to listen to the conversations even if you knew what was going to happen. This episode was of course a winner for the Hitagi X Koyomi fans, though much fun was to be had in the conversations between Araragi and Hitagi. Most of the screenshots speak for themselves so this will be a slightly different episodic than usual for the series.
Nyahahahaha~! That is probably the one thing that stuck most to my head after watching the episode. Once again Horie Yui shows what she is truly capable of, something she has been showing only subtly throughout the series so far, but her true ability was shown in this episode at the part where Araragi reminisces about the meddlesome cat. This was also largely a slightly different lead-in to the story behind Hanekawa. I also know I am very late with this, but since the third episode in this current arc (the last) has just been streamed anyway, that hardly matters. On to the episodic.
