Miko in the Wind

A little late for the fall anime watchlist but then again, who cares? Fall at least has a few more shows than I would catch for summer, but I still hold only a certain level of hope for specific shows…notably sequels. As for new ones…meh. Consider that I have no faith.

Uzume & Chiho

This post contains major spoilers if you have not watched episode 10 of Sekirei ~Pure Engagement~, even for manga readers, because it is a huge move away from the manga. So please read on only after you have finished watching episode 10. To avoid spoiling others through the title, I left it as such.

Packy & Botasky

The long-awaited (and I do mean long) arrival of Cat Shit One did not disappoint – Cat Shit One is the most anticipated series for me this season after watching the first episode. I must admit that despite it being an original net animation, the animation quality was fantastic, and the premise is right up my alley.

Yukimura & Shingen

The rest of my summer impressions follow for the series I am currently watching – Seitokai Yakuindomo, Highschool of the Dead, and Sengoku Basara 2. Honestly I was not planning on watching any more than the three I mentioned in my summer anime watchlist, but there was hype about certain series that made me pick them up.

Senjougahara Hitagi from Bakemonogatari by Sutanri

Well I actually missed Senjougahara Hitagi’s birthday on the 7th of July, the day of the Japanese Tanabata Festival (for lovers; the Chinese also have a similar day in their culture). So, here is a belated happy birthday to our novel tsundere queen, Senjougahara-sama. Not surprisingly, her birthday puts her squarely in the month of Cancer. Hitagi Crab much?
