Apparently Wcloudxkumo is not going to give any love to this character, and I did mention her in the Miyazawa Models Expo post a while ago, so here is an announcement that Oui, from the arcade card game Sangokushi Taisen 3, is now available for preorder at AmiAmi, while her limited version by Miyazawa himself is available at both AmiAmi and HobbySearch for preorder. Much thanks to Moeyo for bringing this to my attention or I would never have known, since both sites also announced, at the same time, Hatsune Miku VN02 (from Vocaloid) up for preorder (AmiAmi, HobbySearch). foo-bar-baz also had a post stating she was up for release.
Edit: Looks like HobbySearch was a little late in opening the preorder for the normal version of Oui.
A few notes are in order.
The first is that I never heard of the manufacturer. So, giving it a chance, judging by the pictures anyway, is going to be something of a risky venture in itself. The pictures are hardly a true indicator of the figure’s final quality (as we all know by now), but the preliminary assessment for me is that, judging at least by these pictures, I will get a decent figure, but nothing much of high quality. At least, that is how it looks to me right now.
Secondly, this is not the first time Miyazawa has landed such a cheesy bomb on his products. The difference between the limited and the normal versions of the product is nothing less than just a color change of her attire. That is all. The prices are even roughly the same (for some odd reason HobbySearch does not sell the normal version, I am baffled as well) at AmiAmi. I doubt there is even any difference in the stock of each either. So lolwut, Miyazawa. Stop being cheesy, I remember Arin got the same damn treatment and like Oui her normal version still looked better. By the way both versions of Oui look nice to me but I still decided to go for the normal version (dark blue) at the end.
Finally, AmiAmi only allows PayPal, but it does (at the moment) also have the option of SAL shipping for packages under 2 kg…and I doubt if Miss Oui here is anything more than that, whereas HobbySearch has yet to implement this option (starts in January for them). AmiAmi also has the privilege of being cheaper on the whole for both versions than HobbySearch.
If AmiAmi keeps this up I will be buying from them instead for certain stuff, though I still look for local stores first. HobbySearch has the option of points though, and dealing directly with the distributor (ie. HobbySearch themselves instead of going through a third party like PayPal). Both sites have their ups and downs, but this time round, AmiAmi sure won.
So, do you think I was right in giving CafeReo a chance, or not? Either way, any particular reason as to why? And are you getting this figure?

I think you were right to give her a chance. I particularly like the darker version over the white. I have always like the details some manufactures place in the costumes.
I may have to add this to my list, but purchasing right now is in a holding pattern :(

Detail is the least of my worries when it comes to a new manufacturer. They could make her all jazzy and sparkly and still fail at finally producing a good, quality product that was shown to us in an original color sample. If they fail to impress at this first one it is quite likely that I will never buy from them again.
