I knew about the generic background surrounding this anime and read lots of first impressions about it, but I still had to go ahead and give it a try. After one shot I was kind of right about comparing it to Kaze no Stigma (ya I have no idea how I finished it). Seriously, how is Cecily not like Ayano? I HAS A BIG SWORD FULL OF POWER GOOD GOD I SWING ONE BLOW AND I LOSE

And like Ayano, she is red-haired (I am well aware Ayano was not nearly red-haired but they are similar), she is weak, and she needs a strong male full of cold pheromones (Luke is so like Yagami). And what is the worst part? Ayano and Cecily are one and the same person. Good grief, I actually expected this to happen – Fujimura Ayumi voiced both of them. Kyouka is probably her only redeeming role now. The OP actually sounded nice and the ED was…yeah cute, but not the kind of cute I like. Other than that, this shit is generic and though I am giving it the 3-episode test I doubt I will keep up with it.

Also yes I chose that particular screenshot to represent the entire episode. By the way Snark has a way more awesome post on the first episode which is why I decided not to really talk about this one. You should read his, and I implore anyone else who wants to take up Sacred Blacksmith to deride it to please do so on your blogs, because it looks like the one series to make supreme fun of this season right now.
