Recently I was compelled to finally make a header banner dedicated to the great Senjougahara and her current fashionable trend,” Senjougahara Fascination” of the highly popular current anime series, Bakemonogatari. Once I had finished, a suggestion was given by Noirsword to have a “Senjougahara Fascination” week of sorts. Allow me to extrapolate that and let us make it a Senjougahara Fascination month!
The idea is to have as many blogs as possible who support the movement of “Senjougahara Fascination” to have, for one whole month, only one header banner of Senjougahara Hitagi (please either make it yourself or ask someone else to do it for you, the one I did for Noirsword received complaints from two perfectionists who were both drunk and tired or something), and proclaim our love undying faith to Senjougahara.
Of course I did post a tweet about this but no one RT’ed. y lack of lurve 4 her?
Anyway if you are interested, leave me a pingback, come up with the banner, and anything else you deem necessary. Let us show that Senjougahara is likely to be the Anime Girl of the Year 2009 (if she is not already)!
Oh and it is up to your luck to see if you can get the Senjougahara banner for my blog. I have quite a few in rotation after all. Please do not spam F5 just to see it, thank you.
PS: Not something very concrete to go by, but why not? At least I am trying to start something. :p

I’m all for Senjougahara Fascination, but at the same time I feel a bit sorry for Araragi given how formidable Senjougahara can be lol.

Look, I watched the first episode of this show to see what it’s about.
I can tell you, a show with a panty shot within the first minute isn’t pretentious, unless it’s pretending to be a sex offender.
Love it or hate it, the slide-show aspect of the show is a clever trick to save budget while still keeping most of the animation and art relatively high standard(lolchins notwithstanding). There is really nothing wrong about the show itself.
No, the problem lies with the obsessive fans, the moron mouthbreathers who pause every five second to catch the “hidden jokes”, the idiots who spend five times as much time watching an episode than everyone else because they search every nook and cranny for bonuses, just so they can feel important about “getting all the jokes”.
And when they realise that they spend an atrocious amount of time on a stupid cartoon, the only thing that can do to justify it is by believing the show to be intellectual and witty and incessantly preaching that value.
Bakemonogatari in a nutshell: talking heads interspersed with shots of eyes or faces or mouths, slow pans across backgrounds interspersed with pages of text, moments of dramatic animation.
Because Apparently none of you have watched independent film, you don’t understand that this is actually pretty standard fare. Mediocre. Done do death.
