1/8 Alter Mio Akiyama
Does anyone know what this is!? I’ll tell you what… INSANITY!!! I have now completely thrown away any sensible framework known as a budget or rational thoughts of “Will I be able to pay for this?” or “Do I have enough money?” This is K-ON! and I’m such a sucker for it (yes, even more so than Haruhi aka Trollfest and Lucky Star) that I’m willing to bow down to Alter’s exhorbitantly evil prices just to complete the whole set, which I am positively, Stephen Hawking-intelligence borne, sure that Alter will complete at least the original four members (though it would be fabulous if loli extraordinaire Azu-nyan be included…). Hey, they did it with Nanoha StrikerS, and are about to do it with Ikkitousen, makes no sense not to complete the K-ON! moe club. Release date and price is still not out (duh… prototype figs usually don’t have those yet, but Wonder Fest 2009 seems to have some answers for us, hopefully), but at this point, I don’t really fucking care. All I know is that I’m going to have more lunches of Cheez Whiz sandwiches and fried nutrient-devoid articial junk in my immediate future…
I LOVE YOU, ALTER!!! (no, this is not a sign of yaoi fandom, nor a bout of classical dementedness… though I am about to pull my hair for the fantastic, yet evil scheduling, job that Alter is recently known for)
Please don’t say you are lazy… (oh shit, I’m now singing… bad sign… must be going nuts…)

She really does have an absolutely lucky sculpt <3 <3 <3 I probably won’t be getting this set though since I’ve already got too many preorders lined up and am not enough of a K-on!! fan to justify ordering them :D

@TP Hahaha. Oh well, if hell means having more K-ON! figs, I wouldn’t mind being in it. XD I do agree however on hoping for a 1/6 figure. It would probably give us a better view of Mio’s shimapan.
@Rapunzel The sculpt will almost never be an issue with Alter. It’s always the price. :D I’m still singing though… this is bad…

LOL, really nice. I’ll throw this into the maybe pile until I see the painted version; though I’m sure Alter won’t disappoint us. I’m sure I’ll be suckered into getting the rest of the cast as well.
