And in the words of Hanai Haruki from School Rumble, “Spring has come!” It is time again for the spring anime season preview! Spring has always been my most anticipated season for anime, not the least of which was thanks to when I first began current anime seriously in 2007, the likes of which saw Darker than Black, Seirei no Moribito, and Bokurano released, along with others that were overlooked but still good, such as Terra e. However, this spring would seem quiet for me.
Anyway again thanks to Calawain and the rest at T.H.A.T. Anime Blog for their wonderful spring preview post, of which I will be basing off. So here goes. By the way I am too lazy to look for pictures for some of them.
Holy shit shouta and loli! Must watch! Premise seems interesting too, I suppose I will keep this on my watchlist for quite a while, if just for the shouta and loli. <3
There was a mistake last preview – QB was supposed to air this season and not the last. Wait. I changed my mind. There are boobs in this anime and lots of girls. What was I thinking wanting to watch this show?! The only saving grace is Hirano Aya perhaps, I mean come on, Kawasumi Ayako and Noto Mamiko? Pffffttt.
I must watch! There is the ultra tsundere rich brat loli Sanzenin Nagi, voiced by the oh-so-lovely-sweetheart Kugimiya Rie! I mean, the rest of the cast, like Itou Shizuka and Inoue Marina, can go to hell. Jeebus, you all should watch this show just for Nagi. Even Emperor Wakamoto cannot beat her.
Holy shit shoujo with no real plot and a girl that looks like a doofus! In the watchlist, baby.
There is a loli. I will put this in the watchlist for like three episodes just for the loli, even if the story seems boring.

From the maker of School Rumble, Kobayashi Jin. Since School Rumble’s sequels were such failures and this one is a different premise, I bet it is going to be epic fail too. The presence of Maka Albarn (Omigawa Chiaki), Nakatsukasa Tsubaki/Lydia (Nazuka Kaori) and Ayasaki Hayate (Shiraishi Ryoko) does not help as well. No way I am touching this.
THERE IS FUKUYAMA JUN, THE LORD OF GAYS. THERE IS KUGIMIYA RIE, THE QUEEN OF LOLI VOICES. THERE ARE SCHOOLGIRL LOLIES. WHY ARE YOU NOT WATCHING THIS ALREADY?
It has the beginnings of the possibilities of yaoi. Automatically on my watchlist just because of the possibility.
Despite my praise of Seirei, I find the premise of this one utterly boring and disappointing. So no.
WTF? Gaming adaptations are always fail. Why am I even bothering to write up something for this!? And Noto Mamiko and Hitsugaga (Paku Romi) are inside? Give me a break!
Gonzo failure. Instant turnoff. Weak shit Kakihara Tetsuya. Super turnoff. No watch.

There is nothing on that list I’m chancing without hearing overall good reviews first. I’ve gotten so busy these days I don’t have time to waste going through all the new anime series and seeing which series are worthwhile for myself.
