This information, first of all, is thanks to oOgA of Anime Banzai with his post on the new FF13 website getting up (it is in Japanese). All pictures in this post are from the official website. Now for the real thing.
I AM CALLING DIBS ON OERBA DIA VANILLE BIATCHES! SHE IS MINE, ‘KAY!? HAWT RUSHI GIRL IS HOT! AWESOME.
Also the background music in the site is almost on the level of amazing. This usually means sucky gameplay, but who the hell cares? It is a J-RPG, we all know what FF will be like. I just hope my worst fears, that the gameplay will combine FFX2’s and FF12’s, will not be realized. The graphics can be totally amazing, but if the gameplay is not…that would suck big-time. :\
I would still play it though, I got the PS3 for two major games, and FF13 was one of them.
Anyway, YES VANILLE. I finally know her name. <3

Just wanted to note here that the music will supposedly be composed by Masashi Hamauzu, who is probably my favorite VGM composer at the moment. If you really liked his work on here, you should definitely check out the soundtracks that he’s done for SaGa Frontier 2 and Unlimited Saga.

Zzero: Sorry dude only interested in OSTs of games that I know or play, lol. Thanks though, but I also found out Nobuo Uematsu is doing the theme song, which is all good, since I knew him from FFX’s OST. I will definitely keep an eye on FF13’s OST, but I have not even managed to get and finish FF12’s OST. :\
Chibi: Calling dibs =/= harem.
Lehq: Well for some there are a limit. I do have my own limits for a harem too lol.
TC: It was SoulCalibur 4. We all know what happened to that one.
Blurmage: PS2 is actually better than PS3, you just got to find the right games that you like. Currently I would suggest that you wait yet longer, the games out are not yet really that appealing aside from the very few, such as Little Big Planet (OMG I need to get that game) and one or two others. It does depend on what you like, but I say waiting is still a far better idea.
Is that the main character for FFXIII? She looks different than the one shown on the video trailers. But oh man, I cant wait for the game to come out.

Ranger: No Vanille is the Rushi girl. The main character is Lightning, different girl. I prefer Vanille a lot more.
Main character is Lightning, and of course, she´s mine. I want my chicks nice and cute with a changable sword/gun combo along with gravity magic and fire for those cold lonely nights.
If the trailers really show us how the fighting is done then this might get pretty good. I´ll get FFXIII and Versus as soon as I can. They are probably my last try with the FF series, if they don´t turn out good then I don´t know what to do.
And for those that have a X0 and no PS3, don´t worry. FFXIII will be released for X0 as well so no need to get a PS3 for only one game :p Unless you want Versus as well.

mmmm once Final Fantasy 13 comes out that will be about the time I finally pull the trigger on buying a PS3. I have a small list of games I want to play on PS3 already, and FF13 and versus will be what tips the scale.
