And for the final Figure of the Month for the year, just making it in on the last day of the year in fact, I have an entirely NSFW review for you (you have been warned). Many thanks to Squee for the lending of his camera for this shoot, but unfortunately, unlike Kokoro earlier, I was still experimenting with the camera and did not have a bright background, hence the noise which I was unable to eliminate, as well as blur shots. Salvaging them in Photoshop did not help much, and some of them will have weird colors because I used the wrong initial settings, this was before the castoff pictures. But anyway, I hope the pictures are at least clear enough for your…enjoyment. Here is the moe figure from the original works of Yamadaya, the limited version of the hadaka apron succubus, Akuma-san 2!

Description
From the works of Yamada Yoshinori, or Yamadaya as he is better known as, comes this absolutely moe figure of Akuma-san 2, the second version of his original Akuma-san released in 2006. As expected from Daiki Kougyo, this figure was originally a resin kit that was picked up by the company for a PVC release, with the limited version differing from the normal in hair color (blue as opposed to yellow). Originally, though I knew about this figure for some time back then, I had no intention of getting it. However a recent review of the Wonder Festival 2006 Summer limited Akuma-san and a picture of all 4 of them (both versions’ normal and limited) prompted me to get this. You could say it is an impulse buy, but wait! Allow me to show you why I think she is not. Here are, first, some shots of her profile with the apron on.

As you can see, the hadaka apron even when fitted well hardly hides anything at all. Ah, the love for hadaka aprons. The unfortunate part about her however, seeing as she is from Daiki Kougyo, is how some parts are detachable and not much effort was made to hide this. Further, as you can see, the spike in her foot where you insert her into the stand is, for some reason, ultra tight. I had a devil of a time (pun intended) putting her in without using too much force, and gave up there as I feared destroying her.
Her head is movable, and as I am led to understand this was the case with Akuma-san as well. This makes for certain moe and lovely pictures. Some closer looks below.

I believe her wings are also detachable, but I did not bother with them, since how would she be Akuma-san (literally Miss Devil) without them? She also has black ribbons on her head, made of real cloth-like material. Here are some of her ribbons and wings.

That ass is delicious. How about a closer look?

Delicious ass is delicious.
Below are her two arms and her apron when you want to cast her off. It is a simple affair to detach both arms and put them back afterwards. Not clearly shown here is how the ribbon of the apron at the back attaches to the apron itself to keep it around her. At least, this detachment and castoff is easy compared to some others.

And now for the part which I know most of you are waiting for - the castoff appearance of this lovely moe girl. First, some profile pictures.

Closer looks below. I must admit her castoff form certainly leaves a good impression.

Luckily for her size, Akuma-san 2 has a small base, as you can already see from some of these photos. Her wingspan may cause problems, but she generally should have little trouble being displayed. Because of the way her head can tilt with respect to the front viewer, she allows for quite a variety of positions in which you can pose her in, and belongs at most at a slightly higher vantage point, though she might fit better at around eye level. Displaying her with or without the apron is a piece of cake, though the apron is almost there for show.

My most loved shot of her by far.
Akuma-san 2 is now virtually unavailable everywhere, though Hobby Search was, surprisingly, having a discounted sale for her (I already had her before that, so it was painful to see her price drop by half during the discount bin, she is gone from that bin now). Apparently few were willing to pay for the figure, perhaps because of Daiki Kougyo’s reputation. Personally, I felt there were places where Daiki could indeed improve on the finishing, but otherwise, overall this figure has been quite the satisfaction as a purchase. She exudes a level of moe-ness for me seldom found in figures, and her devilish wings only add to her charm, along with the hadaka apron. Quite the buy indeed, though I hardly recommend it for people who are not interested in ecchi figures. As an ecchi figure lover though, by damn, is she hot, or is she moe? (pun intended)

I spot something odd on her right foot, near the heel. Not sure what that is. Oh, and the first picture should be SFW at least, haha… The warning came after the pictures. xP

Lol yeah I did that on purpose. As for the odd thing at her foot, I mentioned it in the post itself. It is the spike metal thingie where you are supposed to insert her into since she has an accompanying hole in her foot for it, but I was unable to get it in since I was afraid of breaking her using too much strength, it got way too hard at the end.
She looks gorgeous and fantastic!!

@Panther: Bleh, looks like I missed that paragraph. >.< Perhaps the pics were too distracting…
Shes one of the cases where the castoff feature is done right.
Doesnt make her look fat and its EASY to castoff.I hate nothing more than to spend ages on casting off a figure.
