10⁵. So eh, guess what! I hit 100K hits, 6 digits, 100000. Actually if you want to be technical about it, I got 100K page views and not hits, and page views are still not an accurate indicator of true readership; rather, unique visitors are. But what the heck, it gives me something to blog about.
As of this post I am at 100141, and this tracker was only installed on the 27th of May this year. As I have mentioned before, initially I saw no need for one, because I wanted comments to be the true aspect telling me if people were reading my blog. Of course, at the start, I had no idea that you also had to go around the blogosphere much and to truly interact with others before you can get readership. I still believe in that initial idea, now a more accurate indicator since I actually have readership, and people commenting. So if you have not done so, and still read this blog regularly, please, by all means, feel free to comment on posts you want to. It will do much good for the both of us. Interaction is important.
Anyway, the usual thankies. Since my last landmark at 50K in early October, I took nearly 3 months to get here, which is pretty fast considering how long I took from 25K to 50K. In these 3 months, I must thank the following sites or people for referring traffic and readership to me.
Anime Nano – Without a doubt, the only aggregate feed I am on now, I believe, ever since I was removed from Otaku.fm. So obviously it brings my blog to others’ attention, and so I must truly thank hung for having admitted me to Anime Nano’s feed in the first place.
Otaku.fm – Though I am no longer on it, I still use it to discover other new bloggers, by far the most consistent and persistent method I use to either discover new bloggers or get to know ones that have been blogging for some time. Most of you who read my blog have come from there, and it would be an error to slight the amount of effort that I put into using Otaku.fm to get to know others.
Team Blue – Of course, though I started it as a form of collective group, not just bloggers, it has grown into quite the big group now, consisting mostly of bloggers and locally at that, though I still hope to be able to remedy that in some way. Names I must mention are the core group since we formed in June – Gordon, Fariz (from the Kyouran Kyodai), Wcloudxkumo and Squee. The rest of you too, thank you for being in Team Blue, and sharing what we have as a team, and hopefully, you will continue to bond further and get to know one another better. Thanks to all those who are in IRC regularly too to chat, and to our super-op Tami and our loli operator Najica for their help in the channel. And of course, thanks to everyone in Team Blue too who drove traffic to me, no matter large or little. Every little bit counts. :)
foo-bar-baz – FBB continues to bring us awesome news regarding figures, though in Japanese, and his reviews require no understanding of Japanese to be able to enjoy his pictures of acquired figures that are just released on the market. Thanks to him too for helping drive traffic to me whenever I am featured on his blog, and sometimes when I am not.
Of course, to all the other bloggers and readers out there who have links to me somewhere on their blog, drop by occasionally or regularly, leave comments too, thanks! There are so many of you to name, just naming a few would be quite difficult since I would have to choose, and the rest would probably castrate me for favoritism and bias.

And now for some ecchi as eye candy.
Just some statistics for the blog, even though I already had one post on this before. Currently, there are 447 published posts, a total of 5 authors (1 main and 4 guest writers Kona, YuKi-To, D and Littleneko, and this does not count Ruri), and 1989 comments, with 218 different IDs (some of them repeats or the same people with different nicknames) as people who commented. The top post with the most comments remains “Being a Better Blogger” at 38 comments. “A New Challenger Comes!” is second at 32, and the recent Christmas greetings at third with 29; however “Merry Christmas…In-fi-dels~” is the only post where I made no comments of my own and thus all 29 are the readers’. Thanks! Out of the remaining 7 at the top ten position, 4 are tied at 23 comments and 3 at 21.
Of the people who have commented, the top ten positions belong to the following people, with links if any (accurate as of this post):
- C.I. (80 under 3 different registered nicks)
- Chong Mizunaga (76)
- Ken Lee (69, registered as k)
- Blowfish (60)
- Gordon (56)
- Squee (46)
- YuKi-To (40)
- Hynavian (34)
- Fariz (33)
- Lsio (30)
Thanks to all these regulars who comment on my blog! Except for the first, You continue to show me your support and I really appreciate that.
Finally, the top 3 categories with the most number of posts are Saimoe 2008 (90), Life (75; it constitutes not just posts about my life but miscellaneous ones as well at times) and Figures (41). Though it is not really accurate of what I blog about nowadays, it still reflects what has been the staple of this blog thus far in a small way. I will of course no longer keep up with Saimoe in 2009.

And some yuri/shoujo ai ecchi is always good.
And that is it folks. Many thanks and do continue to keep reading my blog. May it continue to provide either a source of information or pleasure, or even better, both, for you. For a look at the previous landmarks’ posts, here are the 10K, 25K, and 50K posts. Next landmark, if I ever reach it…250K. Rawk on.
