As we knew from the previous post regarding Hobby Complex, there were to be 2 this year, and the 2nd has just gone by yesterday. This is the somewhat preliminary coverage of the event, since there is expected to be more, but I am not going to bother making more posts for it. Instead, you can thank AkibaHobby’s coverage and Moeyo’s coverage for the pictures below, as well as Ken Lee. View their coverage for more pictures, I will only talk about what I am interested in, as usual. Thanks to NanoPulp for identifying the cat above as a Felyne Hunter from Monster Hunter 2nd Portable G. I thought it would be cute to use as a starter image.

#19 from Creators’ Labo, by the figure maker of ecchi types, Yamato – Sangou-chan herself. A little blur. She is due to be released on the 26th of this month, which is damn late, considering she was to be the Figure of the Month for December for me. :(

The cold cast 1/6 Shiranui Mai figure from King of Fighters: Maximum Impact – Regulation ‘A’. By Alpha X Omega, this one will tear the largest hole in my wallet yet, beating the previous titleholder of Wonder Festival ‘07 Summer’s limited edition…Shiranui Mai (from SNK vs. Capcom 2). Wee. As I said, classic females are expensive.

Monster Hunter figure, a resin kit. One of the largest and most exquisite bows I have seen, even if it is only a figure.

The long delayed Limit Gunz from Art Storm. Not sure when it will actually be released…yet.

Yowane Haku, a spinoff of Hatsune Miku from the Vocaloid series. You can tell immediately this is a GK. Also, the colors are off. But still, it was a good effort. I still want to see a PVC of her though.

As I am not familiar with resin GKs and figures in general, this is the first figure I knew of that has movable parts, something that I believe (but I could be wrong) is akin to an action figure. The lovely nekomimi samurai Nazuna. <3

The same Horo from the previous Hobby Complex. Nice GK. I really want to see a PVC of this one out in fact.

I cannot remember her name and I am too lazy to bother finding out, but I remember reading about her in a newsletter from E2046 and I was like, wow. This figure will take a lot of effort to finish. Just look at those complex wings. Looks like someone did it and this was proudly on display. A good job, dude.

Alpha X Omega’s new Hatsune Miku figure from the Vocaloid series. Pretty nice and glossy.

I have no idea which version of Eve this is by now, but this is one hot figure and this version is the coolest and best yet. Lord look at those wings! The only resin figure that has tempted me very much to actually buy one, but I have no monies to do so anymore and I cannot live with a resin without lots of worries. :(

But dammit, is she hawt.

And finally, we finish this off with some real news. Orchid Seed has pushed out an early sample of this lovely figure, whom I think is named Hustler (Sweet Body), whom I truly want, since I do have the image she came from. At 1/7 scale she should be a fine buy, though for Orchid Seed, their price exceeds their scale disproportionately. -_-

The sculpt looks fine so far, the expression is good too. I will definitely want to see a final of this.

And that ends Hobby Complex 06 folks! You can stay tuned to the other blogs I mentioned for further coverage if there happens to be any.

  • The cat, is Felyne Hunter. It assists players in hunting in Monster hunter portable 2nd G

NanoPulp’s last post: OMG, which one?

    • @NanoPulp -

Ah ok thanks. That makes it a lot of Monster Hunter figures at the event.

  • Prefer Miku glossy figure instead Haku.
