And now to part 3 of the cosplay coverage of EoY. It is kind of sad that it was the last, and it was the only one I had been to. Perhaps I should be really glad I went. In any case, we continue from the previous two parts (which you can view here and here) and round up the rest of the so-called generic cosplay available at the event.

Of course, I must also thank the following folks for providing me with all their pictures for use in the making of these posts – Blurmage, Squee (who lent his camera to CI and thus all the pictures that I tried to save but still look a little bad are credited to CI’s hoesome awesome skills) and Hirito. There are also pictures from Hexlord who has kindly given me permission to use his pictures that were in this thread. Anyway, here we go.

Two of the first cosplayers I came across outside the convention hall itself, these are apparently from a series called Lamento (which I have never heard of and would appreciate if someone could tell me what it is). These two cosplayers were quite well done indeed, and many were those who wanted their pictures while I was still around. A few more of them, though mostly singly.

And below we have the by-now-famous Hoihoisan from Ichigeki Sacchu!! HoiHoi-san. I missed her entirely during the event, either because I was too late, or she was hidden in some corner where I failed to go to.

Don Kan’onji from Bleach, below, who was also at AFA ‘08, hence his appearance again in this post here, since I failed to get good pictures of him that time. His Kon plushie this time round was pretty cute.

C.C. from Code Geass. Yes this is the same picture used in the wrap-up for EoY, because I have no good ones of her that I could use. I personally felt that the other one, and this one, each had their strengths and weaknesses in their cosplay in which kind of C.C. they were trying to portray, but this one certainly was cuter as C.C. IMHO. Furthermore, she was there as a solo cosplayer and not part of a group.

Ma Chao from the Dynasty Warrior series, I have no idea which particular one. One of the better cosplayers there as well, lots of attention paid to detail in his costume.

More Code Geese Geass. Anya Earlstreim and I believe this guy to be Suzaku, but I am unsure (and I do not give a shit). These two were the same cosplayers from the Bleach team at Cosfest. Anya was Apache back then and Suzaku appeared as Luppi. YuKi-To will probably have a little more to say about them for the next post, regarding their team.

A vampiress was spotted! Actually, she originally did not want to be seen as one. She was one of the tenders at a booth, and she had wanted to dress up as a Qing Dynasty court official. The unfortunate part was, her costume was not covered in front, in full length like that of the Qing Dynasty, and because of the way vampires were always portrayed in Chinese movies, most people (me included) mistook her for a vampiress, so much so that she painted her lips darker and acted the part. She also knew CI by face, same school I believe.

Seriously, since I asked about this very series at Cosfest, no one has yet identified it. Does anyone know where they are from? These two were also some of the better cosplayers at the event. They had silver guns though, the one at Cosfest had two gold ones…and looked better in terms of looks.

Also one of the very first cosplayers I met, right at the time when I just arrived and found out my camera died on me, this is Yowane Haku, a spinoff of popular Hatsune Miku from the Vocaloid series. Yowane is always sad and drunk because she cannot sing at all, hence the bottle. This cosplayer could look sadder, but I will take what I can get, since Yowane is one of the spinoffs I really like. I was naturally rather pleasantly surprised that there was one at EoY.

Team Blue’s favorite Illyasviel von Einzbern (from Fate/stay Night) cosplayer, kurohoshi! Of course, by the time I found her, she had sadly lost her handbag and everything inside. :(

If anyone finds it (though by now the chances are really slim) please do return it to her, and the stuff that was inside. Some of them means quite a bit to her. A candid shot of Ilya below.

Edit: The photos have been removed upon vehement request. I am not going to bother putting them up again, not for such childishness.

And finally, another booth tender, this black-and-white lolita was one of the cutest girls (by cute, I mean the “kawaii” kind of cute, but yes she is quite pretty too) at the event. Just look at her smile, it is so moe. And warm. And full of heart. Lovely smile there. One more to end the post with below, and YuKi-To will be back soon from Malaysia to bring you the 4th part of the EoY coverage, before I return with the 5th part on Team Blue at the event, and finally the last part of what I deemed to be the best cosplay at the event.
