Sorry for my slowness, been busy this couple of days ^^; As mentioned earlier in Panther’s previous AFA coverage post, I will be covering on booths that were on the convention. I know this sounds boring I was forced by panther to do it but I guess some will be interested. Anyways I did not really pay attention to the booths other than the figure stores since I was searching for rare figures or good deals amongst the stores. True enough, I got my Kemeko Nendoroid for $50, which KazeArashi also wanted but I got it first! Muahahaha! It was probably the only Kemeko Nendoroid sold at the convention and got it from Rapid Culture which I will show a photo of the booth later.

And in a surprising move, Hobby Search has just opened a bargain bin for 112 of their PVC figures, including the “mistake” in the November Arrivals post I mentioned earlier, of which only one person actually got it right without me telling him.

I had a difficult time choosing the Girl of the Month for November, but I decided, why look too far? This month, we take a look at one of my favorite girls in one of my favorite anime and manga series, Soul Eater – the lovely, strong yet gentle demon blade, Tsubaki!

The recent Anime Festival Asia ‘08 has sparked controversy and delight alike across the anime community in the region. There have been instances of hatred, love, and mixed feelings all portrayed after the event, both in blogs and in forums. Though I am not a fan of the latter, due to my extensive experience in them in the past, I have seen what little of the possible miseries people might read of, or be subjected to, in forums. Still, I am not interested in any of that. If we all truly want this event to prosper, what we need is not rabid hate or love directed at the organizers, or internal bickering.

What we really should do, is get together, think on the good and bad points of the event, and send constructive feedback to the organizers. Has this gotten you interested? If so, read on.
