“What’s wrong?” Blanc Neige looked back, almost as though what was going on seemed so natural to her. Flakes danced around, seeming surreal in the glow of the light coming from the lamps available in the wide garden of the Palace of the Gods. For a moment, I thought we were in a land covered by ice and snow, as inhospitable as a breath of flame from Hell, and yet as enticing as the light reflected by a perfect crystal held to the sun’s light.

Blanc Neige flicked her wand, slowly dissipating the ice and snow. Indeed, she had brought about a small fall only thanks to her own magic, which she now bade gone. And we were back once again for her private night shoot, before we could continue with the others who were not too far off.

“So, are you going to start taking pictures?” Blanc Neige looked back at me, snapping me out of my thoughts.

“Eh, yeah, sure. I was just thinking of how and where we should be taking shots.” I recollected myself in time.

“You’re the photographer, you tell me. I just follow.” For an instant, I toyed with the idea of playing around with her words, but squelched the thought almost as soon as it appeared.

“Ok, let’s start over there then…”

I spotted some bright lights in the distance and had an idea. “Blanc Neige, would you mind standing against that row of lights?”

“You mean here?” Blanc Neige stood against them as I asked.

“Perfect.”

“Not until I do this,” she said, and turned slightly away from the camera. “This’ll work too, right?”

“Yes, it’ll work,” I answered somewhat hastily.

We then moved to a dimmer area, as I wanted to get some close-up shots.

“Are you sure this is fine?” she asked, looking around the place.

“Yep, so long as bright lights aren’t in the way, we’ll be ok,” I replied.

“If you say so,” she shrugged, and we continued.

“The night’s getting a little warm,” she said all of a sudden, and took off her cloak. Who was I to object?

A sudden burst of blue light came from the palace grounds, and Blanc Neige was instantly swathed in blue. I did not stop however, and continued with two more shots.

“That’s enough for the night, I guess,” I said, as I shut off my camera.

“Thanks then. Shall we get back before Elwing gets impatient again and starts yelling for us?” She winked.

“Of course,” I smiled back at her.

  • I love her since shining tears on the PS2, I think this is my first time to see her smile, 3D.

  • like the second shot. ^^ too bad there’s no snow in singapore…

    • @tflops -

Indeed, even in 2D, she hardly ever smiles, but that is what I love about her too I guess. In Wind too, she hardly gets the chance to smile, or wants to.

      @k -

      Indeed. Oh well.

  • My pre-order on Blanc just came into stock…mmm…I won’t have her for a few more weeks though because I want to wait for some more figures to come in so I save on shipping!

    • @lovelyduckie -

Good to save on shipping indeed, since it is usually always the killer.

  • i was wondering why my reader hadn’t been updated with posts from your blog… fixed that today when i finally updated the feed. ^^;

the night background sits well with her, good stuff. some day when there’s finally a lull in my purchasing i’m gonna have to grab a bunch of shining figures… including this one of course ^^

    • @meronpan -

Lol, yeah the feed update was mentioned early this month I think. A “lull” in your purchases is going to be difficult to find. :p

  • That she’s smiling is one of the things I like about this figure.

    • @super rats -

Indeed, Super Rats. For once, Blanc Neige is smiling. <3

  • AAAAAAAHH! I want her nao!
Seems like it would only be a dream to have her since most of the PVC figures are costly nowadays…
Nikon D40 has 1000000x way better than a point-and-shoot camera and considering that camera is already an old model but still better..

    • @samejima -

      Lovely Blanc Neige is lovely.

That D40 was not mine, but Squee’s. I am thankful for that, and I only have a point-and-shoot, so obviously not possible to do night shots.
