As you are well aware by now, I recently moved from Dasaku to my own server. The main reason is because I wanted to host Team Blue’s blog as well as Clan Blue Panthers’ (not yet up and no one who reads this blog probably cares anyway), and I did not want to keep troubling Randall. My gratitude goes out to him for hosting me for over a month and letting me get acquainted to Wordpress’ blogging platform, and bringing me to the attention of other bloggers from Dasaku.
 

The move was successful and smooth other than a hiccup pertaining to php.ini settings file, which took me two days to fix partly because of my stupidity in not realizing it was not appearing in a certain directory. Well, it is all done now, but there was a double import problem with importing from my XML file, so if you spot duplicate posts here, inform me through email (pantherrh -at- gmail -dot- com) or leave a comment and point me to the posts, thanks.
 

Not much will change here, Team Blue’s blog is mainly the one that will see freaking lots of changes. Of course, speed and loading times are always an issue, so do vote regarding how fast or slow the blog now loads for you, now that I have changed hosts. Voting widget is as usual on the left sidebar where it always has been. Links will be fixed in due time…like next year. Hey at least I got the monthly features’ links done first, the banners in the right sidebar are all working and pointing to the right posts here.

Update your feeds please, the feed URL is in the meta widget, or in the menu at the top. Finally, a TLD. Other than that, I might add a background for the sidebar widget titles, but that is about it. Yes I know, this looks like Web 0.1, but I prefer it this way. It is simplistic, console-like (console being 90’s console, the type they used to do in sci-fi games like Battletech) and suits my needs. I have yet to find another suitable theme for myself, so we will leave it at that.
 

Thanks goes out to Orange and others that helped me in the server side shizzles. I can also rent out space but I cannot do it for free, slight costs are involved. If you are interested in finding out more please contact me via email only for this issue. If you want free, I suggest Dasaku, but Randall is not easy to work with, just be patient though, he is a fine person beneath all his words lol.
 

I still lurk in #dasaku, and am usually in #TeamBlue in IRC (Rizon server, irc.rizon.net). Do find me there if you are interested in chatting with me or others, #TeamBlue especially gets a lot of activity now that we have more people joining in the channel. Of course, the more the merrier. IRC clients can be found in a variety of sites throughout the net, use the one that suits your OS and needs.

Normal blogging will resume tomorrow, look forward to it. Sorry for the lack of posts other than Saimoe during this period of time.
