I know that I am a freaking late person to be posting this, since Minami-ke aired last year, and these MADs (Music Anime Doujins, however please check the article linked) were based upon the first season (and completed by the end of the year latest). However I only just got recently alerted to these vids by Orange (who himself said he was slow on IRC lol). So thanks to Orange for giving me the info for the Volleyball wo Yaranaika MAD, which pointed me to the other three I will feature here.
In any case I learnt that these MADs are not just original works in of themselves, but also, they were done by [millstones] who composed his own remixes and music for these vids. You can find the Nico links, as well as download links for his music, with or without vocal, at this site. You can also find links to other MADs he did, a huge bunch, and I really like the music he did for Volleyball wo Yaranaika as well as Minamitronica.
As someone who has also edited vids with timing and stuff, once again I must say this was amazing work. The amount of effort you need to put in to get the timings right, as well as the editing, not to mention the encoding, is simply phenomenal. I really appreciate people who can do this. It does not always mean they are NEETS or have no life, ok?
Enough of the talk, here are the four vids in order – Nantoiu Jijou (Minami Kana), Minamitronica (Minami Sanshimai), Rotterdam Banchou Core (Minami Kana & Fujioka), and finally, the daunting and weird Hosaka with Barei Booru wo Yaranaika?. Rotterdam Banchou Core is somewhat of a new theme for me, the Banchou of Team Blue lol, but I digress. Enjoy the vids. Nico has slightly better quality for all of them by the way, so view the Nico ones if you can.
Truly, the song for Volleyball wo Yaranaika keeps ringing in my head even now. The music, as well as the MAD, is a masterpiece.
Ruri will be doing the monthly summary tomorrow, so yeah, and as usual I will be keeping track of Saimoe, so the monthly summary will be done a little earlier instead of just half an hour ahead of time. Plus, I will be reformatting my computer on Sunday, and assuming all goes well I will still need to take about at least half a day to fully get back on track. If my Sunday Saimoe update is late, I apologize in advance.
