I have gotten to the point of being so powerful at desktop destruction that I made it a reality. As of this point in time I am currently posting on my younger cousin’s PC because my own has already undergone the Splits of Doom, as WS would put it. I now require an entire reformat and I do not have the XP disc, well done.

In any case because of that there will be no posts until I get my PC up and running, lord knows when. In fact I was planning on doing the substantial post tonight but without my own programs and etc., I do not feel like wasting someone else’s electricity and power and time. The Figure of the Month article was what I already got halfway done, since I already took my pictures today for the figure. And this coming weekend is Cosfest, what great timing to go bonkers on my own PC.

Basically what happened was when I decided to go to Boot Screen options in Style XP and picked a custom boot screen by mistake…actually it happened before that when I got hit by a worm, Win32 Gualicem or something. Pretty old worm according to what CI found, but it amassed its power too fast and I had no idea at the time until it was too late, infecting almost every .exe and .zip file in my local C drive as well as my downloads (another drive) folder for Style XP, and other downloads in fact, that were under a ZIP or EXE format. W00t.
 

In any case, I already know a wipe has to be done, but luckily I have an external HD now. The previous time this happened was at the start of this blog, read the first three posts if you do not believe me. Lol, I got smarter since then, and my data are all backed up into the external HD. I will probably keep the external away from any new downloads though, and redownload all that I require, in terms of freeware programs. Urgh.

So yeah, until I get my PC up and working, look at Team Blue for info since CI can post there and besides, it is mainly only Cosfest this weekend. If you are headed for the event, see you there.
