And, after another untold number of weeks (actually roughly 4), I finally work on the next Song of the Week. In the future I will be working on the Song of the Week every Tuesday. The new song is updated in the right sidebar on Sunday, and the article will be done on Tuesday. This is to ensure I do it every week, with a schedule in mind.

The second song is the ED of the Year for 2007, Tsukiakari by Rie Fu, from the series Darker Than Black ~Kuro no Keiyakusha~, which received my personal award of Best Anime of 2007.

Because there is already a very good translation available, I will merely point you to the lyrics at Word of Songs. All credits for translations go to the owner of that blog, Atashi.

Tsukiakari (Moonlight) is a very nice soft song that is simply an expression of love under the moonlight. Coupled with Rie Fu’s great singing talent, it is no wonder this song won against the others, taking the ED of the Year award in my End-of-Year Awards. For a full list of EoY awards, there are three posts in the December 2007 archive.

This song is recommended for light-hearted moments of love, and as a general expression of love from a lady. The song is available for your listening pleasure in my IMEEM. Enjoy.
