Once again, thanks to Danny for providing the info from his huge assortment of pictures from Wonfes this year. Here are the articles on Wonfes that he has further put up since my last post, which was a feature on La Tendo.

This is a special feature article talking about the shop that sells otaku-related stuff such as figures, Gashapon, model kits, and the like in Singapore. Their name is La Tendo, and though they already have a website, I decided to do one of my own features on their store, as well as what they have gotten from the recent Wonder Festival 2008 Winter. This is my first time doing such a featured article, so please bear with the amateurism. I hope only to bring knowledge of the shop and its availability to others interested as I am in the figures that we may obtain from Japan.

This week’s Song of the Week is a very interesting and funny yet rather soft piece from the Half-Life 2 add-on mod, Portal. Jonathan Coulton composed the lyrics and the music and had the voice actress of the character, a computer, in-game to do the song. Fantastic piece. Here are the lyrics, and unfortunately, Stage 6 is being shut down forever due to high running costs on the 28th of February. It used to have the ending credits animation for Portal. The animation itself has the lyrics, but I will repost them here.

Needless to say today was all about Wonder Festival 2008 Winter. Since Danny has the most extensive coverage possible right now for Wonfes, I will be following his updates and pictures and then commenting on them here. Hopefully I get to take pictures of La Tendo’s haul from the event as well, the emphasis being on “hopefully”.
